The construction
The work area of the MS22C lean is designed INDEX like i.e. vertical and front open. The tool carriers are in a
V-shaped arrangement around each spindle and guarantee the use of several tools working simultaneoulsy. The type of machining is only determined by the tool holder. All machining operations (outside – outside, inside – outside, fixed – driven and driven – driven) can be freely defined in almost all spindle positions. Another advantage: A free chip fall is guaranteed.
View into the work area
The MS22C lean has been developed particularly for the market of medium-complex workpieces that has been dominated to date by the cam-controlled multi-spindle automatics and simple sliding and fixed headstock automatics. Thanks to a defined equipment set adapted to the respective needs, the system-related advantages of the front-open INDEX multi-spindle automatics are now available for the economic manufacture of these turned parts. The machine is recommended due to its minimum changeover times and its little cost per piece as an alternative to higher equipped cam controlled multi spindle automatics.
