Virtual Machine
The Virtual Machine is a pure software solution that includes almost every function of your INDEX machine and which complements it with additional components. Whether you program on the machine or with a CAM system, you simulate the exact machining. It is based on the original data of the Siemens software, the INDEX control and the machine geometry.
Not all CNC users, given their existing manufacturing environment, are capable of operating machines equipped with such complexity effectively, safely and, in addition to that, with the required economy from order to order.
The “Virtual Machine” now allows you to “play through” forthcoming changes in order without any risk, even before problems arise on the machine. This makes it possible to convert the maximum number of actual machine hours into actual production hours.

This optional package can include a powerful notebook or desktop PC – pre-installed and fully configured if you desire. Just switch it on and off you go − everything else has already been taken care of!
